Hawaii COPD Coalition will be having online support group meetings through Zoom on 2nd Tuesdays and 2nd Fridays of the month, 10am-12 noon HST.  Details are posted on the calendar at www.hawaiicopd.org. The American Thoracic Society (ATS) Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR) hosted its 14th annual Meet-the-Experts patient/family education forum on Wed, July 15th from 3:00-5:00 pm EST (9-11am HST). The US COPD Coalition is excited to present a free, two-part webinar series that will focus on helping COPD patients stay healthy, both mentally and physically, as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.  Everyone on the webinar can post questions that will be answered by our panelists. The first webinar, featuring psychologist Arpi Minassian, Ph.D.,  Coping with Stress in Difficult Times Webinar. The second webinar, “COPD and the Benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation”  was  Brian Tiep, MD. Dr. Tiep, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on chronic lung disease and pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD and the Benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Webinar .
