Free COPD Resources!

The American Lung Association has some exciting programs, including “Living Well with a Chronic Lung Disease,” where you can have 5 weekly telephone conversations with a respiratory therapist and get a free booklet with that title. Call for more information about that and other programs at 1-800-LUNGUSA, 1-800-586-4872.

The Respiratory Health Association (RHA) created the COPD Caregiver’s Toolkit in 2017 to support informal caregivers of people living with COPD. The National Heart Lung & Blood Institute (NHLBI) worked with RHA to help create a digital form of this Toolkit to provide greater access to caregivers everywhere. The FREE toolkit is available here: https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/resources/copd-caregivers-toolkit-modules

The toolkit is in handy modules that can be used and reviewed as needed. It can make life better for patients and loved ones.
