It is free and open to the public, especially people with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or chronic asthma, their caregivers and healthcare providers.In 2014, our keynote speaker was pulmonlogist and sleep specialist, Ronson Sato, MD. Other speakers included physical therapists Bobby Tagawa and Bernie Soriano; patient, golfer and small businessman, Ralph Antonio; executive director of The Caregiver Foundation, Gary Powell; retired home health nurse, Patricia Tom; and executive director of the Hawaii COPD Coalition, Valerie Chang. Our emcee was health communications professional, Pedro Haro.In addition to our regular exhibitors, two new exhibitors for 2014 were OxiMedical bringing many different portable oxygen concentrators for folks to touch, feel and try out, as well as Accredo talking about how to get specialized infusion and IV care.
